Tunisia Staten

Tunisia represents management in all areas of employment law arising under state and federal law. She handles matters arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and various state laws. Tunisia also assists management in developing employment policies and conducts wage and hour audits. She also conducts training for managers and supervisors regarding various employment matters.

In her spare time, Tunisia enjoys reading, working out, and serving as a mentor for underprivileged teen girls.

  • Nationwide defense of employment litigation.
  • Successful representation of employer in limited Family and Medical Leave Act investigation conducted by Department of Labor.
  • Successful representation of employers in investigation conducted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
  • Obtained dismissal of race and disability discrimination claims through summary judgment.
