Alpana K. Gupta
Alpana is a member of the Firm’s employment law group. She represents clients in employment, civil rights, and public accommodations cases brought pursuant to laws such as Titles II and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866.
Alpana graduated from Harvard Law School in 2006. Among her extra-curricular activities, she participated in a speakers program, a school volleyball team, and a wine club.
In 2001, Alpana graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in English Literature. After college, she organized a speakers committee at Vanderbilt that focused upon the law and social justice.
In her spare time, Alpana enjoys reading modern literature and watching films.

- Representation of employers in wage and hour claims brought pursuant to the FLSA.
- Representation of plaintiff in Title VII sexual discrimination matter and related state matters.
- Representation of employer in arbitration involving the FMLA.
- Representation of employer in collective actions brought pursuant to the FLSA.
