Debbie K. Haverstick
Debbie Haverstick practices in the area of employment, civil rights, and public accommodations law, concentrating primarily on defending clients in discrimination disputes brought pursuant to Titles II and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Debbie also has experience with wage and hour disputes brought under the FLSA.
Debbie graduated from Rhodes College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She received her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2005, where she was a 2003 recipient of the Outer Barrister’s Guild Award. Debbie completed an internship with the Honorable Justice Hunstein of the Georgia Supreme Court in 2004.
Debbie is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
