Stan Hill

Stan’s practice focuses on individual, collective, and class actions brought under state and federal employment laws including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Prior to joining Ashe, Rafuse & Hill, Stan clerked for the Honorable Patricia C. Fawsett, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida. In addition to traditional clerkship duties, Stan assisted the judicial subcommittees proposing revisions to the Eleventh Circuit Pattern Jury Instructions on civil rights and employment law.

Stan graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2009, where he earned book awards in Federal Tax Law and Secured Transactions, served as Executive Authorities Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, and received the Sims Prize for best student publication. In 2006, he obtained a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering, with highest honor, from Georgia Tech. That same year, he received the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity E. Allen James Outstanding Undergraduate Award, which is awarded to one undergraduate nationally each year.

In his spare time, Stan cheers on the Ramblin’ Wreck and Jacksonville Jaguars. He is an avid golfer and serves as an alumni volunteer for Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity both locally and nationally.
